Someone who has personally fired one!

Please give us more specifics!

The 22 Magnum cartridge has enough power to repel all but the large bears.

It looks like a fun pistol, but I'm not so sure about this.

Jeff Quinn is an ass-hat shill for one of the major distributers (Lipsey's or Davidsons).  The reviews are a good read but not worth much as a recommendation.

You guys are over analyzing this it holds 30 rounds which is cool .22 WMR also cool and loud ready for suppressor also very cool only $300 full of win. I agree it may be pointless but its also the coolest pointless range toy you can buy I am defiantly getting one.

Anyone know a dealer or distributer that has one for sale?

Anyone else notice the full-auto version w/ buttstock, VFG and small red dot sight?

I see they did. That is what I get for jumping to the last page.

Still wanting one, CDNN is out of stock, as is the other three places my FFL tried.  Anyone know someone that has some in stock!?

Tag for range and reliability reports.  FWIW, I'd rather have one in .22 LR (cheap) or one of the rimfire .17 rounds (fast).

Nobody has them in stock, they still haven't been released for sale.

Does anybody know what the barrel OD is?....... Threading barrel for suppressor would be great!

A PMR-30 + SWR Specter = Tons o fun!

What do you think the 22wmr barrel pressure is out of that short barrel?

I ask for people who own standard 22lr suppressors.

Haven't fired one. Not the least bit interested since it doesn't serve any useful purpose for me that I can't accomplish with a different rifle or pistol cartridge. Every piece of fired brass I've examined from one exhibited flowing of the primer around the firing pin, and I know for a fact that some of those were factory loaded rounds.

I've fired one.

1.  Feels like an airsoft gun.

2.  Less muzzle energy then Nato 9mm

3.  Only 2 1/2 guns (I'm counting an AR upper) fire this round.

4.  Firearm is overly expensive for what you get.

5.  Ammo is expensive for what you get.

1.  Very little recoil.....the gun stays on target after firing.  This is a good thing.

2.  It is close....don't get in a long distance shoot out with your 9 vs a 5.7....you won't live.  Get Elite ammo and then compare.

3.  So?

4.  My point about can't afford.

5.  Re-emphasizing my point about can't afford.

You might not, I will since I shoot my handguns out to 100––that includes snubby revolvers.

100 yards is cake for most pistol rounds on an IDPA target. Under stress? Probably not, but that has nothing to do with ballistics.

?  jus saw this in my gunstore (palmetto state armory in cola sc) totally ugly, but on the shelf.  I played with it for a second then handed it back....

Sure, you can have them all. One round at a time.

?  this is a gun forum, most people here spend the money whether they can afford it or not.  But come on, cost has got to be a factor to consider among people who actually TRAIN with their firearm.

I totally want a PMR-30.  Do I have any practical use for one?  Hell no.  Practicality isn't always my first consideration when purchasing firearms.  That would get boring, really quick.

I've been on the fence about one of these for a while.

I think I'm going to hold off to see where the .22 TCM goes, since it's reloadable.
Order some golf shoes... otherwise we'll never get out of this place alive

.308- because people have a strange tendency to get behind things when you start shooting at them.

My uncle got one from the LGS and it runs fine out of the box.  The pistol is LIGHT, sights are nice.  Ammo is pricey but it's what he wanted.

We have one an five magazines. It works great and isn't particularly ammo sensitive.

It does not like the Winchester 45gr load due to the very flat point on the bullets. That's all we've found so far that doesn't work.

It's a Kel-Tec though so your milage may definitely vary.

It's fun to shoot, with a great trigger, extremely low recoil, loud, deep muzzle blast, and muzzle flash.

Also .22 Magnum out of a pistol absolutely is not ballistically similar to 5.7×28. Honestly it's pretty much slightly better than .22LR OUT OF A RIFLE ballistics.

I've had a PMR-30 for a while now, not sure how old but maybe a year after they redesigned the barrels.
Accuracy is just OK, lockup isn't super tight. Mine wasn't finicky with ammo but ran CCI maxi mags the best.
Never had any feed issues BUT these mags need to be loaded a certain way, treat em sloppy and they won't work. A good speed loader helps.
The last issue I had with mine was occasionally not fully stripping a round from a full mag, a quick tap on the slide always seated and kater I added a slide mounted optic and the extra mass semed to fix that.
GREAT single action trigger, very light, no recoil but big booms and big fireballs. My poor man's FN 5.7.
