From time to time I see lower frames on gun broker
Right now there are several m9a1 compact lowers advertised
brand new
Just curious why would they be split up
What would you think is happening with the slides

About 20 years ago I bought one of the 40 caliber Beretta 96 uppers that's some distributor had from police trade-ins,,,, slide barrel recoil spring and magazine....... I don't know maybe now they're just getting around to selling the lower frame / receiver

I purchased a M9A4 complete frame from a seller on gunbroker. The sellers are most likely putting the slides on ebay for a significant mark up. At least thats what the guy does from where I purchased the frame.
