Are the Mec-Gar P-14 mags good to go. I've always had good luck using Mec-Gars with other handguns. Thanks

I have a P16-40.... those MecGar mags function very well.. but do NOT lock the slide back.

For commen items like this... I usually check the reviews at someplace like MidwayUSA, or Brownells.

I have a Pro Custom 16.40. These magazines will not work in this pistol. They do not latch in when inserted.

No problems at all with my Mec Gar P14-45 magazines, which are around 10 years old now.

Also just bought three Mec Gar magazines for my SSP in 38 Super, and they are far superior to the magazines that came with it.
