Is there anyone milling XD's for optics? I have am XD45 compact that I love shooting. But my eyes aren't getting younger and I'm pretty well sold on red dots.

Powder River Precison does. I had them do mill both my XDm 9 and XDmC 45, great job on both.

Thank you for the help. Do you think they'll do a Shield cut for a direct mount with no plates?

Unfortunately they cannot do a direct mount. According to Powder River the striker safety in the slide prevents that.

If only the XDm Elite used XD pattern mags They do, but only if your rolling with the 45. I use plenty of the 13 rounders from the XD Service 45 in the my XDm C. The Elite would be no different, just have to remove the magwell. |
