It was supposed to be NIB but someone (who NEVER FIRED IT, so that part is true!) did a "trigger job" on it but I couldn't see the sideplate screws in the damn dark when I bought it. FORTUNATELY the "trigger job" was only a polish and a severe clipping of the rebound spring which is what was cause the problem my dumb ass didn't catch till I got home, put on some REAL glasses and looked at it in the light. One factory rebound spring later:

I can honestly say I would've never known of them had it not been for instagram. I do love the way they look and I've come to like how the pachmayr presentation grips shoot as well. You might be able to find a set on ebay for a fair price, I lucked into these for $50 and the going rate seems a bit higher. That's a nice 686, I should've just started with a 686 but I 'needed' a blued gun because it looks more classic. After grabbing this 625-3 I appreciate the stainless much more. Attached File |

Where did you get that 41? I think I saw one exactly like that on Cabelas used guns recently and I regretted not picking it up. My 27 with a fancy red dot now. Plan is to kill a deer during our straight wall season this year. This is much easier to shoot than the 19-10 with warm loads. Attached File |

I also bought it's Colt little brother from the same Lehi store. I figured it belonged to same owner based on the work. Unfortunately, other than the Magna-porting and jeweled/polished hammer/trigger, the Colt doesn't have an action job. These are my first Magna-ported guns I've owned. Just based on the blast, I can't say I'm a fan. I haven't figured out if it reduces recoil yet. It probably does. Attached File |

I shortened the bbl to 3.5”, reprofiled the ejector shroud, round butted, and stippled the backstrap. Had the novak dovetail cut by a local gunsmith, wanted tritium.
