I thought about starting a new thread here, but I figured here would have been more appropriate. My newest acquisition:

HK Mark 23. Originally I'd planned to buy it a little later this fall, but after recently learning that they has halted production on these not long ago, I figured I'd better do it now before availability disappears. Purchased from US Autoweapons in Scottsdale this last saturday, turns out it was the last one in stock. Haven't had a chance to take her out for some range time yet, but I'm hoping sometime within the next week or so (I work night shift, so timing doesn't always work out for me).

But all in all, I love it! Just looking it over during the initial cleaning, it's most definately beefier than the USP .45 and certainly far lighter than it looks for a pistol that size! Still no accessories to go with it yet, but getting a good quality thread protector is first on the list of things to get!

Just wanted to share with the hive mind, here. Sorry about the pic. Cell phone.

If you didn't know, there's a $100 rebate out there for the Mk23 too.

Really? I had no idea! the dealer never mentioned it and I didn't see any paperwork telling me otherwise. Is that an online thing?

They're actually the stock sights. Superluminova... they glow after being charged. I really like them actually. As far as use, they're really easy to line up too.

Here are my HK babies.  So glad I made the plunge.  The accuracy, reliability and confidence I have with each pistol is just plain awesome.

I am still waffling on what do do for a potential 2011 purchase.   Really eying a HK45 or USP45.

I picked up this USP .45C a few weeks ago.  It's only been to the range once, but I'm very pleased with it.

It will join my P30L and P2000 SK.

Wow! I've always loved the two toned finishes on pistols, but there's something about that P2000 that makes it stand out even more!

Very nice

Very nice. How do you like the Surefire?

That will be the next thing I buy for mine.  I still can't decide if I should get the X300 or go all mall ninja with the X400.

Thanks man. The X300 is light and seems tough as hell. Throws light very well but I haven't trained or practiced at a range at night with it yet. Love the HK45 with light LEM.

Always far too many pretty and brand new P30s in this thread.

Here's mine with 4000 rounds through it in five months, carried every day in a Crossbreed, used weekly for competitions and training.

She's beat up, but they're proud battle scars.
