FINALLY! I've been wanting to see Heinie Sights on a full size USP and haven't been able to find a pic til now. And on a USP45 Tactical, none the less!! I really think I may have that done on mine. I don't REALLY need adjustable sights. Those just look right on it. How do you like them vs. standard 3 dot sights?

Thanks, I'll give u guys an update once I take it to the range, maybe monday.
ETA:
I had the mepro's (3-dots) did'nt really like em, so I switched back to the stock sights, then got the Heine.
So far, lining up the dots w/ the Heine are a lot easier, but that's just my opinion.

Update on the Heine slant pro sights:
Was able to get to the range today.
Shot a few boxes of Magtech .45 FMC 230grains ( I think I could've done better with match ammo ,lol )
Here are the pics, shot at 7, 10 and 17 yards:
I really like the sights compared to the stock and mepros.
(sorry about the pic, did'nt clean the gun yet)

Yep. Unbelievably quiet. Sadly not mine But completely convinced me that I DO need a suppressor for my USP.

Thanks, tho I feel the magtechs were snappier ammo compared to the black hills.
One thing I recommend, have a Gunsmith install it.
––
I did mine with the slide on a vise, used brass punch and brass hammer to
take the old ones off and install the Heine (some ppl have used small wooden dowels).
I did have to dremel/sand some of the material off the bottom of the Heine sights to make em fit (as per instructions).
If you decide to do it yourself, I also recommend a laser boresighter and make sure everything is aligned
before installing the rear sight set screw with loctite. Good luck and post pics when u get them.

My first firearm was a USP 40 Compact stainless in 2002, which I sold in 2004.  I'm happy to own an HK again

where did you get the mount?

Old, original HK bridge/comp mount.  This USP 40 was one of the very early one sold and back then you could get some parts that are no longer made.

After a hot day at the range.

Family photo of all the pistols

These are a few of my favorite things!

Every time I am at the range someone asks why do I have it, and the best reason other than because I can, is that shooting suppressed is so much more enjoyable. I have since sent in the paperwork for a YHM 5.56 can for my AR15 and I am planning to buy a threaded barrel for my Glock 22.

Thanks. I got it on trade a few years ago and carried it a bit. It would rust and get nasty everyday that I carried it so I retired it for range use. Now I've started electroless nickel plating small items on my own and decided to try it out on the P7. I'm happy with the results.
