Update after a couple range trips: -115gr UMC Rem. 34rds. In my experience this is the worst and weakest 9 consistently -115gr WWB 34rds -147gr Black Bullets hand load 100rds (950fps+/-) -147gr HST 20rds -124 +p HST 17rds Everything has run 100% with a factory gen5 RSA. The garbage 115 ejects consistent but weak. So far so good. Shooting back to back with my Gen 5 19 it is noticeably less recoil. The one issue I have is about 1/2 way though both range sessions i need to remind myself to stay diligent with my grip. Compared to the standard gun it allows some laziness.

Choked on the first 10rds of Blazer 115. Not surprising considering all the junk on it. After about 200ish rds of 124/147, it'll take any 115 now. No issues at all with 124 and 147 from the start.

Finally got my mini-Roland finished. It took awhile to get the PMM compensator. It shoots great with 124 grain NATO-spec ammo and 124 grain +P HSTs. Anyone on here running the Ameriglo GL-611 with the lumigreen front site? I've got a blacked out set on another build but thinking of trying this on another pistol. Curious to see if that front site is distracting with the lower 1/3. Ive used front sights with fibers on competition rds guns and I dont notice them but wondering just how big that outline is on the Ameriglos |
