Looks like suppressor height sights, no comp, longer barrel and cutout for thumb safety.

There’s a company making slides for the macro without the puesdo comp.  I’m looking at getting one.

These guys.

Yup.  I looked ta the prices of the complete XL slide set up and I might as well just buy the entire pistol that way I have another FCU to mix and match. The complete slides I was seeing are all around $500+ and I believe I can get the pistol for $575….

Those sights look fragile.

a few months ago I bought an XL for $540 that came with night sights, holster 12 round mag and two 15 rounders. Last night I placed an order for a Macro frame ($61+shipping) and 17 round magazine. Done. Pew Pew.
For me the attraction of the Macro is the extra grip length and capacity, I'd rather have the extra barrel length and sight radius of the XL slide at the expense of the comp on the Macro. I'm sure Sig will offer this shortly along with 8 other versions. I'm not sticking a red dot on it (sure I say that now... )

Did Sig make their own magwell ? It looks like the tactical development one that has been on back order for a while

I put the macro slide on my XL grip to tame the recoil a bit, the XL slide is on the macro, because the full grip doesnt need any taming. win win. 4 season carry

@coregon

Is the magwell coming standard on the LE models?

Depends on the SKU/config.

I bought a used XL and swapped barrels.  I ran a test using the XL slide and the Macro slide on the Macro frame.  For me, I liked the comp better for follow up shots.  I will do more testing to see which one I like better on the Macro grip.  Stay tuned. :)

For those that are interested here's a short video on the differences in MV between the XL and Macro pistols, 3.1" and 3.7" bbl length respectively.

Proven has the regular xray sight version up now as well  I think I will ask work to issue me one.  Off to find an OWB holster with a close, high ride.

Sure would like to get ahold of one of those Grip modules with the manual safety relief.

I wonder if Sig will be making all the Macro GM’s like that moving forward?
