Just hit the Warrior thread w/ this pic, too. I think she's more than pretty enough to warrant it.http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r97/dankircher/1911/KimberWarriorI.jpg

My first Kimber...(not first 1911). Took her to the range to check her out and had ZERO malfunctions and she grouped them nice @ 25 yards...my only complaint is there is a "rough spot" in the trigger (soon to be fixed).

For posterity...my Miller Custom massaged Kimber that has quite possibly the best trigger I've ever felt...this guy knows how to tweak a 1911 to perfection.
Totally stock in the barrel department, with a drop in ed brown bushing that I did NO fitting to. After seeing/feeling what this thing can do, I doubt I'll ever buy anything other than a Kimber, and the only person that will ever touch it will be Robert Miller. Seems to be a great combination. |

Was that the lighting or is that a special color finish? Looks great. |

Thanks...it's the lighting (somewhat). You can see another shot of the same pistol above (I changed the grips out on it). The lighting isn't exact on that shot either...it does have a different finish (kind of gray) than the slide (frame is alum alloy).

Nice Knife! Could you clue me in on what it is? My dad gave me the same knife years ago. I've been curious as to who makes it and who it was originally issued to? Here's a pic. |

BP Ten II, only has about 300 rounds through but I'm like'in it. I picked up two 14 round mags at a recent gun show, $40 bucks EACH! But they're nice, some kind of shiny plating and bumpers.

This is my 2nd Kimber, but the first one I owned, I only had about 15 hours. Wanted one for a long time, but traded it off as soon as I got it! This one isn't going anywhere. Shot about 200 rounds through it the first time I shot it. About 100 the second. My groups got MUCH better the second time. I love this gun!

Not a great shot but a great pistol.
First Kimber. Hated the grips though, just didn't feel right. Houges made the difference. http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k131/Rtwinger/DSCF0005.jpg |
