I was thinking about trying the RMR HD. All my glocks have the backup irons milled forward of the optic cut. I presume I'll have to remove the rear site from the dovetail like this, is that correct? Not sure I realistically need them, but do I have any rear iron site options?

Yeah won’t have room for the rear iron. Good news in with the RMR sitting farther back you’ll have less issues with holsters I have seen these. Don’t actually know if they work with the HD But honestly you don’t need a rear at that add on would probably cause problems. Like that plugs the drain holes looks like You can use the front sight and RMR body to aim just fine, not to mention the top of the RMR |

Yeah i’m not gonna worry about it then, i’m sure I could do just fine with no rear sight inside 20 yards. I am concerned this thing is gonna print a lot more though. Not sure how crazy it’s gonna look on a G26. My curiosity has gotten the best of me tho. Never realized those were drain holes! |
