I'd go with the Desantis 044 and get the ankle support strap.

I’ve carried j-frames on the ankle for 30 years
On duty as a BUG there’s nothing better. Currently use a 342 AirLite loaded with.38+P 135gr Gold Dot Carried in a 5 Shot Leather rig  Attached File |

Like 50 dollars off advertised price right now. I ended up ordering one for my 856. They also have some desantis second six speed loader belt slide dealies that work great for reloads. |
