First Ruger revolver I ever owned was a 6” GP-100, just never really enjoyed it, too big, too heavy, lacked the smoothness of my S&W 681.

Next had a Ruger Speed 6, nice little gun, just very heavy compared to my S&W 64.

Bought an LCR in 22lr during the ammo craze to be able to shoot inexpensive, not a bad shooter, still not as enjoyable as my S&W.

Picked ip this GP-100 7 shot in a trade.  VERY handy, smooth, balances well, now just need to get it to the range.  If it shoots as good as it feels.  I may be back.

That’s probably not gonna be a good shooter.

Big 7 shot snub nose 357 is quite the oddity.

I bought this 4 days ago.  Five days ago at 'O dark thirty' the dog was barking furiously, I grabbed my Colt Python, ear pro and a headlamp.
Damn skunk was in the wood shed.  When his tail went up I rolled him.  Wood shed sinks, but that's better than a skunked dog.
When I get a can and a red dot, things will be quieter.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts of new 7-shot snubby. Anything from carrying (holsters available) to accuracy and comfort with full house loads. My little SP-101 2.25" is a favorite that I carry in winter months. At times I wish it held one more round. But ehhhh.

It's a medium frame gun

Congrats, nice looking gun. I have a GP100 6" model that I traded into and it is fun/accurate to shoot. I would have preferred a 3" or 4" model but it just seems to last.

Why wouldn't it be? My old Security Six 2 3/4" is an excellent shooter .

All the mass at the rear of the gun is the opposite of what makes a gun a ‘good shooter’.
