 I bought this M&P 40c in 2012. For me it’s a Goldilocks size, not too big, not too small, just right. Over the years I’ve installed the Apex trigger, springs, and plunger. DP Custom Works milled the slide for the RMR and I recently bought an Apex threaded 9mm barrel. |

Had a local shop mill my M&P for a RMR. Just about a two week turnaround. Need to find new sights for the Glock style rear sight cut. Attached File |

I like the clean lines on this one. I swapped the 4" compact slide to the full-size frame of my M&P 40 and swapped the M&P 40 CORE slide to the compact frame for better concealment because I carry the 40. Unfortunately the M&P 40's don't have as many options as the 9's do. I think the only optics cut 40 is the CORE pro series and it's a full-size frame only. My backup magazine makes it a full-size pretty much.

Old faithful and new hotness Attached File Have an early 1.0, that patterned like a shotgun with 2 factory barrels. Fitted a BarSto but it didn't make much difference, so it was likely slide timing issues, not the barrels. Dropped the BarSto it in the metal 2.0 and it's a laser beam. If i miss it's 100% on me. |
 Best edc I ever had. 40 core frame w/rmr on a 2.0 compact frame. I think I want to add a SLR magwell just for a little extra grip length. The compact just about fits my whole hand but it carries better than the full size frame. I think I want to add on an apex trigger, remove the trigger dingus from it and add on a thumb safety. |

I have the notch in the barrel hood. I got this gun used and purposely wanted this version for the purpose of milling an optic. I still need to get new irons. Maybe someday. One for duty and one for concealed carry. The 3.6 shoots just like the 4.25. 13+1 .40 S&W and it's the best ccw I've ever carried. It's not uncomfortable with a Galco leather stow-n-go holster. It's not even that much bigger than a Shield 40 considering it's double the capacity.

 $199 O.T.D. Former Police M&P 1.0 in .40 S&W at Oh dark Thirty at 27 measured yards using tritium night sights + TLR-1 light for illumination / confirmation of target as Hostile Hog - weapons free. Did the quickie trigger job, shot a lot with it and she still shoots like a dream spot on the sights all while using inexpensive ammo, magazines, holsters & hits hog humbling hard too... Bigger_Hammer

   I had a custom built 2.0 that I’ve carried for about 6 years now and have purchased every new 2.0 variant S&W has come out with to see if it might be my new carry pistol. None have made me change. Just got the new metal carry comp and I think it may have a chance. |

Attached File Pawn shop orphan. 40 S&W has seen very little use from what I can tell. Frame is unmolested. Pistol and one mag only for $275. Will clean up very nice to use as a truck gun. My first M&P |

I didn't buy any because I owned nothing in .40. Looking back, I should've just bought a cheap Glock or M&P and went shooting whenever I wanted. |
