Always wanted one, finally picked one up. I’ll add it to my carry rotation. Need some good leather. Put 12 rounds through it and it was right on at 10 yards with 158 grain .357.

That or the stainless M65 3" round butt is a grail gun for me.  Very nice.

Treat it to some nice leather from a real gun guy:         https://www.simplyrugged.com/store/Boomer-p629111764

Recessed cylinder?  Looks like a smooth combat trigger also?

Do think you need to send it to S&W to get a lock installed to make it safer?

Great score! 3” round butt K frame is a sweet carry.

Very nice! 3" K frames are perfectly sized/balanced. I have the no dash, or -1. I can't remember. It has the recessed cylinder.
ETA: mine is a 4".

Congrats. They are solid guns that will last a good long time. Holsters can be a personal thing, especially leather. Not that I carry it around owb in the summer, but in the winter months I have a DeSantis leather holster for my 66.

The funny thing about these heavy barrel fixed sighted Smiths is that they are usually dead on at 25 and the rear sight cut out lines up perfectly with an 8" steel plate well enough that people will think you're a cheat.

You can ring steel all day long with them.

It’s a -4 so no recessed cylinder. It has a serrated backstrap and smooth combat trigger.

I love my two 13's (3" round butt and 4" square butt) and 65 (3" round butt). The 3" 65 is about the perfect carry revolver.

Very nice!

I kind of wanted a 4” square butt, but this one popped for a good price. The 4” square has a 80’s patrolman look to it lol

I would like to have a 3inch but when I saw this nickle pinned and recessed 4inch on GB I could not resist. Added Culina magnas in American holly to it.

Starting bid is pretty reasonable for a 13.  Doubt it stays there, although the market has slowed in recent weeks.

Very nice 13! I much prefer blue over stainless and the 3” guns are generally much more difficult to find and much more expensive than the typical 4” square butt. With a little effort and patience a nice 4” can be found for around $500 while typically if you find a 3” the price about doubles

I grabbed a minty 3" 13 in 2019 for $425.
It quickly became a favorite.
