Seems like the options are either a having TRP Operator aftermarket milled (Springfield makes the TRP AOS but not full rail,) or full custom Alchemy. I don’t mind the Alchemy price as much as I mind the Alchemy wait. My only other 1911s are Wilson so I don’t want a pistol that feels cheap. Any other suggestions? |

No other suggestions, but if you don't like the ACW wait time, grab the SA and send it in to NHCS for their IOS cut. That said, NHCS wait times can vary. I will say this, it seems like you want a full size, full rail pistol, so this may not apply, but SA has the Emissary in full rail commander form. I have one, love the pistol except for the frag pattern on the front strap and MSH. Would definitely recommend the full rail TRP over the Emissary without question. |

The Springfield Emissary is full rail in the commander size. I'm really happy with mine, it shoots great. It's really too heavy to carry though. I like the sights so much that I'm putting the same sights on my Garrison.
