Alright
So I have my first "bigbore" on the way.. a used Superr Blackhawk in stainless with 4.62" barrel.  Other than ammo (duh) and a levergun to go with it is there anything else recommended  that I do/ get done?  I'm not big on stainless SA revolvers, but this 2as an opportunity, so I took it.  That being said, I'm there are some scratches etc on it.  Are there any good black finishes that are durable and good for revolvers?  If not I suppose I could just get it bead blasted?

Bead blasted or do it yourself with a Scotch Brite pad.
Get ready for the barrel to point to the sky😁

The only thing I like to change is the front sight. Unfortunately there's not a great drop in replacement. I like these blanks to make a patridge style sight.
