Does anyone know of any places that still sell threaded barrels for the Makarov pistol? That are chambered in 380acp or 9x18 mak, with preferably 1/2x28mm threads?

Use to makarov.com sold barrels and DIY barrel presses, but that website is just an informational now.

Not sure I’ve ever seen a 1/2x28 barrel for them, I picked up one a while back in an odd thread pitch; something like 1/2x32.

I know there as a supplier long ago, but, a makarov with a silencer was used to assassinate a Federal judge. No more were made.

I've been looking for one on and off for a few years. I missed two threaded barrel Makarovs on GB, one I was beat out and the second was overpriced. I figure now that I'd just get another Mak and then add the barrel when I found one.

There's probably old timer gunsmiths at old farms in Eastern Europe in dirt road towns and in mud huts in Pakistan that can make them with ease.

I picked up a threaded barrel off the EE a few years back, but it’s an uncommon thread pitch, something like 1/2x36, so I’ve never done anything with it.

You can thread your existing barrel... Ecco machine did this one for me.
