Hello all,

I snagged a green usp from rooftop this week, and am having quite the dilemma with what wml to put on it, especially seeing as how specific this thing is going to be with holster options.

I really just can’t get down with the x300 switches, so it is mostly out.

The TLR1HL seems solid, but the GG&g adapter brings the light down just a hair, and I am concerned about pushing that lever all the way down to actuate. X300 on the adapter rail kind of brought this to my attention. I know it’s a training thing, but that switch is down there, instead of just a forward motion.

The tlr7 seems to be the new hotness, and the, “high” levers look like they might fit the bill, but giving up half the maybe not needed lumens is kind of wild.

This will be a take it everywhere pistol. I’m carrying a vp9/x300 AIWB right now, so I’m comfortable with the size.

Any one have any insight? I have not messed with the modlite offering, but they don’t seem to have holster options, in an already small market. Thanks I’m advance!

I would go with the tlr7 if your going to appendix. A tlr7 will mount flush with the muzzle of a usp. I now run a tlr7a on my usp compact and my p2000sk. I had previously had the tlr1 on my uspc and it's a good deal wider and sticks quite far past the muzzle.

Modlight should use the same holsters as the Surefire x300u.

I have a x300u on my USP 45 Tactical, and I replaced the stock switches on the x300u with the ARC Enhanced WML switches from Phlster. I think other companies make replacement switches too.

Look into the Emissary Paddle Shifter if you’re worried about switch height.
