First of all... I'll tell you how hard it is to change my mind... My every day concealed is a 4" 9mm XD I bought brand new in 2004. My "truck cosole" gun is the XD45 Tactical I bought in 2006...on layaway. Tomorrow when I leave the house, I'll be carrying my Ruger. And it was only $349 2025 dollars ??

Welcome to the club, I guess. I've got 2 of them, sold my Glocks, and I carry one (RXM) almost every day. Big fan of the 17rd frame, can't wait to shoot it again. I did buy a 43X recently, because sometimes I want something smaller. But haven't shot it yet, so the 15rd RXM is still my daily. |

I never thought I'd really consider one of these, but it's growing on me. Glock has all but abandoned their own legacy of being the AR-15 of the pistol world (at least in terms of parts availability and compatibility), so despite the flashy new features of the recently announced gen 6, I'm having trouble justifying investing in the Glock platform going forward. Are they going to release a gen 7 next year with updated internals and trigger components again? It's hard to trust them going forward. The RxM just makes a lot more sense now that Glock no longer offers their ubiquitous Glock gen 3 pistol. How is the RxM slide and barrel steel holding up out there? Any rust or peening issues from crappy steel? I can't help but ask since it's a Ruger pistol... Is Ruger manufacturing their own small parts for these or just using existing Glock gen 3 parts supply chain? Curious what long-term small parts supply will be like in 20 years if/when Glock decides to permanently end gen 3 parts production. |

| For the money, you can't beat it. Especially if you got the $349 deal. They are solid guns and Magpul makes different grip modules for them. I debated on getting one but I have enough 9mm pistols. I plan on getting one eventually as it is on my list. |

I've read Ruger is making their own parts, I've ordered a few things for spares on shopruger.com. I figure why not have a complete parts kit or 2 stored away just in case. As for finish and fit mine is perfect. The serrations are more aggressive than any other gun I own. Finish on the slide is tough, no wear yet from kydex. I know when they just released their was issues with barrels but no more. I see a lot of complaints about the Magpul mags but I've not had a single issue yet in the 15s or 17s. |

Check your striker assembly, or replace it with Glock OEM cups/sleeve. Other than that good to go. Attached File My RXM Attached File Only weighs 4 oz less than a Steel framed Jericho.  I wanted to see how heavy I can go. |

I bought 2 a few months back to replace P320s that were being banned all over. Added Holosun dots and Streamlights to them. So far no complaints but not tons of rounds thru them yet. Getting used to the grip angle and trigger hasn't been the fight I thought it would, just takes reps. Not carrying one daily but shoot 2/3 gun style stuff. FS frame was a welcome improvement even though I don't have big hands (Med glove size) |

The RXM is a Glock with the ergonomic enhancements and feature upgrades that Glock customers have been asking for at a budget price. It's unlike anything that Ruger that has ever made. There also isn't another Glock "clone" on the market that I know of with an FCU. The Echelon and Sig have an FCU, but are different non-Glock platforms at a more expensive price point not compatible with an existing Glock platform (parts and magazines). |
