I was picking up a couple transfers at the pawn shop, they had a used with one mag Walther Creed, I had never heard of it. It looked brand new, $229.95  and we don't pay sales tax in WV so that's my out the door price. I had never heard of it, but don't know anything about Walthers having never owned one. I put $50 on it so I could research it.

Thanks

Hammer fired budget gun Walther used to make.

Nice for $200. Beats a Hipoint

I think they were like $300 when they were new.

I’ve never heard of any inherent problems with them but I’m pretty certain they are discontinued

If the hammer arrangement is like that on the discontinued PPX it is pretty nice.  The PPX was one of those apparently unsalable Walther designs that were perfectly serviceable and dependable pistols - just ugly as a mud fence.  I guess I’d inquire what magazines the Creed used before I bought one.

I did a little reading on the internet, the mags are still available. $40 a pop

I think I will get it, shoot it a couple times. The trigger pull was very nice.

The Creed is essentially a recontoured PPX (less blocky design). Both were sales flops although decent guns. They have a three-piece barrel so +P and +P+ ammo is not recommended.
