I see some Sig guns of various models listed as 'Nitron' Editions? For example P230 Nitron, P229 Nitron Compact, etc. What does Nitron mean? Is it an edition? Like Legion being the fully loaded, and Nitron being the basic no frills? |

Not only is it their proprietary finish, but Nitron was also designated as the base model. They have since dropped Nitron name from most models, with the exception of the Nitron California with the P220, P226, and P229. They still use the Nitron finish. |
