Wife inherited this and shes not a gun girl, no sentimental attachment to it. Was her grandfathers hip gun when he owned a pawn shop. Appears per chat gpt and its box to be a 60s model 32 snub nose in 38 sw. Has some holster wear, bore is flawless Lock up is tight, haven't fired it but it functions as i would expect. (I did not let the hammer fall on empty cylinder) Kinda cool, has the box and original tools and papers. Also have a box from a same era model 60 stainless that I have no idea who got the gun. | With box and paperwork, I'd say $335ish. If I saw it for that price at a local shop, even in that condition, I'd probably buy it. And possibly flip the box. If you post the serial number, I can give you the year (or close to it). The turn off is the caliber for most people that might want to carry it. |

Yup. Many a new shooter has purchased a .38 S&W and tried to stuff a .38 S&W Special into the cylinder, only then realizing their mistake. I agree with the $300ish number. There are enthusiasts who love the caliber, but not many, and they'd certainly like what comes with the gun. |

Checking completed auctions on GunBroker, S&W Terriers sold for anywhere from a low of a bit over $500 to a high of a bit over $900. Remove the grips, get some WD-40 and 0000 steel wool and clean the revolver up a bit. Since you have the box, I don't think it'd be a problem to get at least $600 for it. On the S&W Forum, a member mentioned he sold two Terriers for $750 each. |
