Have a MK IV 22/45 Lite and a Mini Mamba upper. Looking for ideas on what to get next. Must have threaded barrel as I shoot 100% suppressed. I have owned a couple TX22s. Not bad handguns at all, but that's not on my radar at this point. |

I have all of the classics I want....thanks to the P322, I now have an interest in polymer framed .22 pistols for some odd ass reason. I have zero love for polymer striker fired wonder guns. It's not that I hate them...they just never EVER grown on me. Anyhoo, Smith and Wesson got rid of ( much to my chagrin ) the full sized M&P .22 and now have a new model called the 22X. I think they want it to look like the 5.7 and their .22 Magnum. My PWS BDE .22 can looks great on my P322. I am thinking the Smith 22X with a SilencerCo. Sparrow might be fun.  |

If you're looking to scratch an itch for something new, and you haven't already touched the internals, you could throw a TK victory trigger in that thing along with VQ internals. Having adjustable pre- and post-travel is amazing. |

Without breaking the bank, the Keltec P17 and CP33 are a ton of fun, as are 10/22 chargers, although they can turn into a money pit fast getting them fancy. Ask me how I know.  For the P17, the only upgrade I'd say is mandatory is the MCarbo trigger as the factory is plastic with a lot of flex. The CP33 is stupid fun with 33 or 50rd mags, and can be the MP7 at home. They are crazy accurate though. Or you can make your wallet cry. My next one will probably be a MKIV SSH, unless I can snag a volquartsen blemished upper on sale.

I love 22's and have a few 22 pistols including a S&W 41, Browning Buckmark, a couple of Ruger MK's, P322, TX-22, Colt King Cobra, etc... They are all decent options but to be honest, I don't love any of them. They all have at least 1 or 2 things about them that I don't care for (either capacity and/or construction and/or take down method, etc.). I'm hoping some day (sooner rather than later) Ruger will release a high capacity version of the MK 22/45, preferably with an aluminum frame. I'm not holding my breath on aluminum frame part but a man can dream can't he?

I have several as I have been on a .22 rimfire kick lately. I currently have a Taurus TX-22, Glock 44, Ruger MKIII Hunter, Ruger MKIV 22/45, Hi-Standard M-101, Hi-Standard Model B, JC Higgins Model 88 and my 2 latest, a S&W M&P22-C and Walther WMP .22 Mag. I also have a S&W M&P15-22P. The list of wants are the S&W M&P 22X and M&P .22 Mag., S&W 43C and 351C .22 Mag. are four I would really like to have. The Kel-Tec CP-33 and PMR30 are interesting, but not on the current wants list. If I found them used at good prices I would probably get them. |

Just as an aftermarket of holsters and parts gets built up for it over a decade, they will introduce an entirely different model that is completely different. Ruger only introduces a new magazine every decade, and Browning introduces a new drop in barrel or optic mount. |
