I drunk bought 2 CT sights a couple of years ago (only meant to buy one), and I've been using one ever since. It's now on a .22. I left the other one in a box, since I only had one pistol cut for that. I used it on a pistol with adapter plates for a while, but I got a bigger one for that. Now I got another gun that can use it, and I discover that the one that had been in a box in the closet, unused for 2 years, doesn't work. I was disappointed, because I am happy with the first one, and it's held up to a good amount of use. CT won't even tell me to fuck off now - they're just ignoring me. I wasn't even asking for a refund or anything - just an acknowledgement and maybe a coupon. So- suggestions for a compact sight for a carry gun that isn't Crimson Trace, cuz they suck. |

I just bought an Eotech EFLX CE. It's my first optic so I have noting to compare it to. $388 delivered from Eotech with their LE/mil/veteran discount. Put it on my FN 509. So far I like it, need to get to the range. The ring is too big though IMO (42 MOA). Thought I would like it but I switched to just the dot. If I can get used to this optic thing I really like the looks of the Sig Romeo X compact enclosed. Might put one on my Reflex. |

I have no dog in the purse swinging going on over Osight v Holosun etc because I have an Osight SE on my subcompact and Holosun EPS Full Size on my full size. The Osight SE has been a great sight for me with 1500 rounds down the pipe on my MC9 with it installed (6 moa green). I even had to use one of the screw sets included with the Osight to install my Holosun because they didnt provide a very good screw set with it. Attached File |

I got the rechargeable one, because I thought it was novel. It's been over a year and it's still on the first charge, and I've used it a bunch without issue. I'm not sure what fits that Ruger model. And there is not much love for the Shield Sights RMSc. But I have the Talo G43 which came with the Shield RMSc and its a super sleek package. The surround housing is thin enough that it almost disappears while on target. It is the easiest red dot to conceal. Even though I'm a huge fan of Holosun enclosed emitters, they are like TV's on top. Like an Eotech on an AR. Sometimes you can find the Shield RSMc for 50% off. ETA: Looks like it is RSMc pattern. So it sounds like a direct mount with no need for a plate? You'll have to verify that. |

I put one I have on it to verify the fit, but that one lives on another gun and isn't a brand I want to use on a carry gun. Thus, the question. |

Dot is super crisp to my eye which is nice, great for NV also. But it doesn’t get very bright and also just doesn’t strike me as very durable. DPP pattern too which isn’t my favorite either. |
