Came to a realization a while back that a 19 with a factory +2 extension allows for 17 capacity or 19 concealment and the additional sight radius is moot with today's MRDS sights but still like a little more speed from a longer barrel. Ended up with a gen4 g19 frame, gen3 g17 trigger, Brownells gen3 slide w/RMR,  threaded barrel. SI slide adapter for the RSA. Same OAL as a g17 but with less slide and same height as a g19 or G17 depending which mag you use. Carries like a 19, shoots like a 17.

Obviously this isn't too wild as it can all be done with OEM parts. What other unusual configurations do you guys like?

I chopped the grip on a PSA Dagger Compact (G19 size) to take G26 magazines, making essentially a G26L copy.

Same as your G19L, just shrunken in length and height.

I was very close to buying a $199 G17 tonight from classic firearms with a damaged magwell just so I could chop the magwell to take G19 magazines.  I decided against it (and they have since sold out).

On a different note.....

Now that the G17L is available as a Gen5, you can get a 6.02" for a G26 (to be ridiculous).

G26XXL sounds like fun.
I don’t think the G17L slide will line up with the G26 frame though.

I don’t really mess with odd configurations but I like the oddball Glocks.
My current favorite is a G32C that has a GPT in it.

I saw the g17 thread and almost ordered one for a chop too...but I really don't need more larger glocks  Was a great deal though.

I LOVE IT IVE HAD NO ISSUES AT ALL. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THEY ARE REALLY HARD TO LOAD WHEN BRAND NEW

I've had a 26L for years, it's my favorite configuration. Retains all the ability of a 19, with less weight and size. I had this done before we had the G43/43x/48, etc... we also didn't have options for quality lights for the small single stacks or the 26.  Usually carry it in raven concealment vanguard 2.

I’ve got a few uncommon configurations. I made my own G49 before Glock released them by using G19.3 frames, G17 slides with LW adapters to fill the gap and G17.5 barrels.

Before that I made a G26L using a G26.3 frame, G19 slide/barrel and LW adapter to fill the gap.

And recently I put together a G26XL using a G26.3 frame, G17 slide and 17.5 barrel and 2 LW adapters to fill the gap.

G26L and G49

It's a bit of an oddball. My favorite Glock so far is my G41 MOS with a Holosun SCS. Couple aftermarket bits and some work done to the grip. It's thick in the grip but thin in the slide so it fits in my 19/17/34 holsters depending on length.
