Was looking through some ammo cans and found a lot of Winchester black talon ammo in their original boxes. Untouched from the early 90’s. Are these black talon ammo still desirable to collectors? Worth anything !!?

And yes I know that the big evil
Black talon ammo is just a good ole hollow point. I don’t believe the hype.

I don’t get the hype either.

$1.75 to $2.00 a round for 9mm. Other calibers like .357 Magnum and 10mm sell for lots more per round.

"Collectors" have been selling that stuff back and forth for years. No one ever carries it for defense. It was a decent hunting round in .357 magnum rifles, but that's about it.

A lot of 9mm on GB. Also I don’t see any of the white box black talon out there. The ones that Winchester came out with after the stories of how wicked and possessed the black talon was.

I still have about 20 or so rounds of .45 left. I'll carry them on the rare occasions I carry my 1911 or Glock 30, but that doesn't happen often.

Isn’t modern Ranger T ammo the same design, just left as a copper jacket?

So the old commercial Black Talon is basically a collectors item. For dependable self defense rounds would rather carry fresh ammo than something 30 years old with possible questionable storage.

But looks like someone is willing to buy the above listing for $3 a round, so far.

They are actually very good performers. I sold off my .45 BT at a premium last year but have kept the 9mm and .357 boxes.

I have a few thousand round of 9mm Black Talon... that I dumped into GI ammo cans and trashed the boxes!

So... I find comfort in the fact that if Trump has to work so hard to go to Heaven, then there is a shit load of Democrats that have no f-cking chance to go anywhere but HELL. Sometimes it is entirely appropriate to kill a fly with a sledge-hammer.
