So has anyone tried to used the subcompact XD40 mag on a new mod 2 9mm?

I have flush fit 12 round mags for my XD9 sc and 16 round mags with the XD Gear sleeve. I have a full size XD40 that a friend used my mags in his XD9 with no “tweaking” or any adjustment whatsoever.
