Might be picking up the 4.5" version of this tomorrow. It'll be my hiking and Jeep trails gun, and no, not in KS.  Just thought I would see if you guys still like yours, or have regrets/issues. Definitely leaning Springfield over Glock in this case. |

I bought one about two years ago after having returned from fly fishing out west. We had bear spray and I determined in order to use it many things had to go just right in order for it to work. I had always wanted a 10 MM so I went ahead and got one. Looked at the Glock and XD elite. Got a better deal on the XD and have shot it quite a bit. I also liked the ability of being able to change the grip size unlike the Glock. It’s worked just fine, no issues whatsoever. I load mine with Underwood 200 grain solids and have a Holosun on it. I have the Kenai chest rig holster. Heading out next week to Idaho and Montana to fish and will feel much better with it than spray. I did go with the extended 15 round mags which does give a bit longer grip to grab out of the chest rig. Just make sure you get the correct mag spacer that fits the grip swell you have, they’re marked I, II, or III. |

Stumbled upon a small, nice shop in a town we were passing through, and they had an M&P I was able to fondle. It was really nice, felt good, but $150+ than I wanted to spend. I haven't had a chance to check out the different grip swells yet, but I'm taking "Chonkers" out to the range to shoot it this morning. Thanks for the tip on the spacers! In terms of the grip swells, you have to drive out a roll pin, so unfortunately it not the easiest to change out in the field if at all feasible to do at your local range. |

Only got to put about 100 rounds through it today. Scheels only had one 180gr FMJ box, so I grabbed it and a 50 round box of cheap 180gr JHP. No issues at all. Ran some Sig 180gr V-Crown as well, which will reside in it daily. It's a sweet shooter for sure! Recoil wasn't too bad, but of course it's not Underwood or Buffalo Bore stuff in it. Can't wait to shoot it again! |

Any updates? Have you looked into an optic yet? I’m also a new XDm Elite OSP 10mm owner. The 3.8” version. I’ve only shot “cheap” 180 gr. ammo through mine so far. Looking forward to shooting it again with some Underwood. Hoping to find some online cheaper than in my local stores. Maybe Santa will put an optic in my stocking for it this Christmas. |
