| Unfortunately you're about 2 decades late for that. Your best bet is probably to keep checking gun shows. Marakov anything isnt cheap anymore. |

Officially, all Russian made guns were finally banned from import into the US in 2021. But the commercial .380 Makarovs pretty much ended by the mid 2000s. Russia stopped making them since the market for them dried up retail wise. The Clinton AWB ended and the once cheap Makarov was now collecting dust and guns like GLOCKs, XDs, and M&Ps were flying off the shelves. Plus, guns like the Kel-Tec P3AT and Ruger LCP were dominating the .380 market. In the 2010s the last retail stock of the commercially made Makarovs finally dried up. |
