| I've only ever held a Canik TTI at a store but I own and shoot a couple different Shadows. I like the weight, feel, and triggers better than the Canik TTI. They've also been very accurate pistols for me. Far better than I can run them currently anyways, but I'm working on that. |

I went through a similar experiment about a year ago, but with a base model CZ Shadow 2 and a Canik SFX Rival (poly frame). I rented both at a range and put about 100 rds through each shooting doubles, Bill drills, and slow fire from distances of 3, 7, 15, and 25 yards to get a feel for things like how the guns cycled, recoil impulse, trigger press, manipulating the controls, and accuracy. I went home with the Canik... Better trigger, about half the price, and optics ready out of the box. Though it doesn't have the aftermarket that CZ does, but I was willing to compromise. |
