Are there any other revolvers which can shoot both .357/.38 and 9mm?

Or are there any aftermarket cylinders or such that can convert or modify a .357/.38 to also accept and load 9mm in moonclips?

Taurus makes a DA revolver with a.38/.357 and 9mm swappable cylinder. I’ve been tempted to get one because I love shooting revolvers and 9mm is so much cheaper than .38.
It didn’t matter when I could reload but my living situation doesn’t allow that now.

You can modify most .357 revolvers to do so, but hardly ideal.

Phillips & Rodgers Medusa was designed from the get go to shoot .357 & 9x19mm.

The Ruger Blackhawk Convertibles in 9MM/.357 are fun as hell.

Been eying the one in 10MM and .40.

Did the FN Barracuda not do both, long time since I worked for FN....?

TK Custom will convert most 38/357 revolvers to also shoot 9mm both on moonclips (moonclips are optional for 38/357 but required for 9mm).  The resulting chambers do have a slight pressure limit, no 9mm +P or super hot 357 Mag or you might get cases sticking in the cylinder.

9mm revolvers are an answer in search of a question.  Most of the manufacturers have tried it.  All have fizzled in the marketplace.

Without breaking the bank, the Ruger Blackhawk. Like others have said, the convertible  has both cylinders. I will say it is for plinking or recreational usage because it has some cons- it is a single action only revolver, (you will need to practice with it to become proficient), emptying/reloading the gun takes time and it is heavy for ccw. Is it a fun gun? 100%- yes. I love mine and is a blast to shoot and everyone wants to shoot it at the range. It is very accurate and smooth to operate.

They do it the lazy way and that is why it fails.  The simply jam a 9mm chamber reamer into a cylinder long enough for 357 magnum.  You only get the benefit of thick robust moonclips but still have all the size and weigh of the 357 Mag.

If they would resurrect the I-frame (originally made for the 38 S&W and 32 S&W Terriers) you would have a short cylinder gun appropriately length for 9mm.  You could put a 2-1/4 inch barrel on an I-frame have the same overall foot print as a 1-7/8 J-frame and have a lighter revolver with less bulk.

You could do similar with shortening the larger frames and the 9mm revolver would be more viable revolver cartridge.  Putting the short high pressure cartridge is a long cylinder is simply lazy.  That said it will never happen since it will never really be a high enough volume product to justify the NRE, the revolvers as a whole is obsolete (with few exceptions) and only hangs on because of boomers and those that have nostalgia for a bygone era.

I have experience with a Ruger Blackhawk convertible. Actually found it more accurate with the 9mm. Yes it’s SA, unloads one cartridge at a time. But fun to shoot. At the time a single cylinder Blackhawk compared to the convertible was the same price. This was also when everyone had to get the newest “wonder 9” pistol. And like new S&W revolvers were in the $200-$250 range.

If you reload you can crank out .357 mag and .38 spl cheaper than 9mm factory. But restricted to factory only ammo, 9mm would be cheap plinking.

Same here. I just bought the 9/.357 this summer and the 10/.40 is near the top of my want list.

Its got the 9mm cylinder in it right now.  9mm packs a bit more pop out of a revolver than you'd think.

If you want to do it this is what I would do. Honestly I would probably just get a dedicated 9mm revolver if I wanted one.
