I was in a pawn shop today and saw a Taurus model 33, a 38 special 5 shot, blue steel with a 3 inch barrel. After some research I can find nothing on this model. It was is good shape and the price was right, but nothing of history of the model or age, i'm doing my homework first. Any help out there Thanks mac |

It is one of the older models I am sure. Does it have a Logo on the side that looks more like a jersey cow than the modern logo? is the cylinder release more rounded? They changed the tooling I believe in the late 80's to early 90's and I thin those were some of their best guns and workmanship. Check this link. Older revovlers |
