Looks like I'll get to go too. Hopefully my FAL will be here by then and maybe my .45acp AR. I'll bring the new additions picked up this weekend. A Stoeger 12ga Coach gun... way cool and a SA WW2 M1911 along with my Cav midlength and the usual stuff. Btw, I have the tannerite I was supposed to get for the last shoot I went to...

My mantra is fewer toys more ammo, this time. I think I'm going to bring AR15 of course, my trusty P226 and maybe the M!A. Lots of mags filled with 9mm, and 5.56, and some lose to run though other peoples toys. I think all total I'm bring 3k of ammo. Ouch!  I hope Dean is a show because I'd love to run another mag or two through the 51.  I think, unless the weather really turns shitty, we will have more people at this one then the October shoot. My rough numbers are about ten co-workers, plus the group that made it last time about 20, plus some new faces from the board as well as a couple from Sigforum. I think we could easily be pushing 40-50 if the weather holds out. If it turns shitty then half that. |
May I suggest that if any of you have a pop up conopy, bring it. Dean and I brought them last time and it proved useful. If we could get a total of 4-5 we could just about cover the firing line . I will bring the big propane blast heater as well, just in case. ilike9s I agree on the amount of HW. I will streamline this time and only bring 1-4 instead 7-8. More room for ammo! CH |

Hey, with all these folk there shooting, what sort of range safety protocol will be in effect? I have friends that are hesitant to show up if it's just going to be an armed clusterF. WinchDoc |

I understand your concern. At the last group shoot everyone was responsible and followed the four safety rules without anyone having to be a range nazi. If anyone would have gotten out of line, I'm sure they would have had twenty people jumping in their shit. Muzzle control was excellent, and through the whole day I did not get sweeped once. The whole time I was out there I do not believe we even had any NDs, so I think that this group of people is pretty safe or I would not be going to another group shoot. Hope you show up and bring your safety friends with you because I'm sure we'll all be safe. Plus if anyone isn’t safe I'll ridicule them here.

I was very hesitant about going shooting with a bunch of folks I don’t know, way out in a forest that I don’t know that’s 75-miles from my home, but I have been very impressed. I feel fortunate to know that the bunch of guys that hang out on the net and talk about guns also conduct themselves with the utmost common sense and courtesy, and are very safety conscious, not to mention a great bunch of guys, and it’s a lot of fun too. I was at the last two shoots and must say, the guys that were there were very safe. |
These really are alot of fun.

Regretfully, I don’t think I’ll be there guys. My sister and brother-in-law who couldn’t make it home for Christmas are flying in on the 8th I’m expecting to be expected to attend the family gathering. If my presence isn’t required, I’ll be there shooting with ya’ll, no boogie smmiches thought. So, maybe move me to the maybe list. |

Dont worry none, the AF will be there to show the marines and squids how to shoot..... I've got a variety of stuff to shoot. Should have my new midlength build, a 20"A2, FAL, Ak, sig, m1911s, xd, coach gun, and hopefully a .45acp AR that wont self destruct this time around a wee bit of tannerite will show it's face too....  Anybody got a belt fed or two to bring?? How many folks will back out if it snows? |
