These are the reason I go anymore.  There are some great deals to be had by individuals.

Did you get a table at Big Town this weekend???

How was Big Town?

21-22 December

Belton - Real Texas
Cleburne - Whipp Farm - this is a fun small show
Fort Worth - Lone Star (This is the last big D/FW show before Christmas.  Not as big as the Premier show, but not small)
Paris - AllTex (2nd show of the month there)

28-29 December

Fort Worth - Premier (Styled the biggest show in Texas, this should be packed.  You'll have to pay for parking)

Two notes:  If you will have a table @ a particular show, post up & I'll add it to the OP.
Anyone ever go to a T&K show before?  Most of the other promoters I'm familiar w/.

Always  did very well as a vendor and buyer at the Lone Star show in Ft Worth, all the ranchers used to hit this show from west of Ft Worth..
as buyers and sellers..been several years since I attended so YEMV.

PARIS, last show attendance was meh...this one, week before Christmas there may be some good activity and deals to be had with folks trying to raise Christmas funds or making their "nut" for 2019
Chef..

I did not get any tables at the show last weekend. But I'm thinking about going to fort Worth on Sunday. Potentially selling a rifle I don't have a need for and looking to buy a Glock 45.

Fort Worth show should have the largest selection of new guns this weekend?

Fort Worth this weekend is the last major D/FW show before Christmas, so it will probably be pretty crowded.  The show after Christmas is the Premier show in the same location, generally it's a slightly bigger show.

Is the Dallas Arms Collector show in January the good one that should have the most milsurp for sale? I might actually go to that one for once.

It'll be the final Market Hall show for DACA before they move to the Southfork Ranch.  Market Hall used to be the largest show in Texas, but it's been a decent medium sized show for some time, not coming close to filling the hall.  Free parking, and you can take the TRE from Fort Worth on Saturday.

I've been running this thread for 2 years and never realized we have 11 different gun show vendors hosting gun shows in North Texas.  There is seldom a weekend w/o a gun show in reasonable driving distance.

Good show for me. Got a NIB Glock G45 for $485. One other vendor had them under 500 as well, two vendors just over 500. I was surprised.

Didn't have all day to linger and didn't really check other prices as I knew what I wanted going in, but things seemed favorable for the handgun market.

I did see a guy slanging Beanie babies for $5,000

Yes.  A reminder - this is not the giant DACA show of old, but it's still a worthwhile medium show w/ free parking.  This will be the last DACA show @ Market Hall before they move to Southfork Ranch; Premier plans to take over the Market Hall location and rebuild the show.  K98kGuy should have a table @ this show.

Yes, last DACA show at Market Hall, the March show will be at South Fork Ranch...

Now, they are doing this show in conjunction with a big militaria show group, so it should have a bunch of new militaria/gun dealers there, and they will have military vehicles and such...should be somewhere between 750-1000 tables...they are advertising on the radio 1000 tables.

I am hoping for a really great show with lots of cool stuff to see/buy...

I have my table in row "E", about 4 tables back from the front table (usually Judge Jacksons tables, I believe he said he would be back in his tables for this last show...) all militaria, can't miss it.

I may have to hit DACA this one last time for the nostalgia of it.   The first gun show I ever went to was Tulsa.  But Market Hall was my first DFW show.  That was a long time ago.

Hey Man, yeah, right when you walk in, and go through the ticket thing, right there, in the middle is Row "E"...David Jackson of Jacksons Armory is right at the head of the row, as you look at it, the right side about 4or so tables down you'll see my table, a bunch of shelves, and all militaria, rack at the end with a M1909 Argentine Cavalry carbine in it...

Bring your stuff right over, and I'll take a look for you...watch for the vultures who will jump on you offering you $250 for your worthless Mauser..

Its a freakin' FANTASTIC show if you like militaria, the full back 1/3 or more are new militaria guys, lots of really neat stuff...there are a fair amount of veterans/authors if you like autographed books, and some really great displays, a Cobra, some vehicles, etc...well worth the trip for sure.

Already bought some good stuff, and because I am insane, saw a Sig M17 Surplus (only one I saw) for a good price, so even though I am on the ordered list elsewhere (and its already paid for) I bought this second one to hedge my bet, in case I get skunked on the other (if they don't get their complete order)...worse case scenario, I'll have 2 M17 Surplus pistols...hold on to them for a while, and I am sure I could sell one at much higher than I paid!

Do you like militaria? Militaria from all periods? Multiple countries? Uniforms, helmets, gear, guns?

You won't be disappointed.

Do you just want to see modern stuff that you can order from any of the sponsors here?

You'd likely be disappointed...

If you dig militaria and stuff, its the best show I have seen in a few years down here...

I'll be there, have to hit the last one after going for years. I like militaria, sounds like a good last hurrah.

I went to the last gun show at market hall today and it was kinda like a
throwback to how this show was in its heyday.
Lots of rare and odd ball stuff to be had.
One guy was selling a semi auto Johnson light machine
gun!!

Yeah...  it was a pretty good show.  I spotted a couple of very nice .41 mag revolvers I wanted.  Thankfully, I didn't bring that much cash.  The militaria was pretty high quality.  Best Market Hall in a couple of years.

Unfortunately for DACA, most of the serious vendors dealing in modern gear aren't much interested in the move to Southfork.  I heard that from several big vendors and 5 or 6 smaller vendors.

Big thanks to 98Kguy.
Seriously helped value my 98k Russian capture to sell.

Got more than I would have accepted or valued it at.

Also sold a couple glocks and Ann to a Waxahachie deputy.
Not a bad show for their last hurrah.

Market Hall today reminded me of the Militaria shows they used to have at the Convention Center downtown in the mid '80s and early '90s. All that was missing was the SS Troopers in full kit walking the isles.

The prices of used S&W revolvers are stunning to me. Wow!
The two Johnson rifles and the BAR were interesting as well.

I have been a TSRA member since 1984 and a life member since 86 or so. I was talking to the two guys by the exit at their table about the events in Virginia tomorrow and they had no clue as to what is going on there. That really instills confidence in what until the last ten years or so used to be a fairly effective group of folks.

It was a great show, IMHO...lots of great stuff to see, and way too much to buy!

It was great meeting up with j97531, TxLewis, and The_Dog!

TxLewis, it was my pleasure, I am glad I was able to help you!

And a big thanks to The_Dog...he gave me a Texas HTF challenge coin! Its really cool, and a awesome piece of ARF history!

When I get back from my Boys birthday party maybe I'll fill in what I Bought!
