Hi, A friend in Maryland has a 16” CZ Scorpion EVO rifle (9mm PCC) with the faux suppressor. The fake suppressor looks cool but it’s useless, dead weight at the muzzle. About a half a pound. Is it legal to replace it with a basic A2 flash hider? I’m not familiar with all the Maryland AWB rules and regs. Thanks! ETA: Nevermind, please disregard. Google returned the answer via Reddit (  ) and the answer is NO.. he can’t add a FH to his rifle since it already has a folding stock. I guess a basic thread protector is the way to go if he wants to lose the deadweight. Thanks.
