Pioneer Basic Engineering I, Olin, NC

This course is an intro to pioneer engineering, including basic physical construction, engineer reconnaissance of roads and waterways, and basic fire fighting skills.

Tasks will be:

Construct wire obstacles
Construct surviability positions
Construct field expedient obstacles

There will be a bit of digging, cutting logs etc. These tasks will make for a very full weekend.

We will be engaging some targets from those positions.

Same items/packing as last time, need to bring any shovels and chainsaws folks have.

Make sure you are ready to dig.

Took about a hour per foot to dig.

What I started today, DIL had false labor so we had to end construction of the first demo position.

Should have some finished pics by next weekend.

Bring a pick and shovel if you have one, this will possibly be some of the more challenging terrain to dig in.

Dont be afraid, If a 54 year pioneer can dig this you can.

And then there was the reward for doing such a great job
