I have a stainless 1894 that I’d like to have threaded. One place quoted me $500, because they thought that like most Marlins, it would need the mag tube shortened, front site moved, etc., but I’m not so sure they didn’t just give me the “fuck off” price. Anyone between Louisville and Lexington who does good threading work, who would also work on a lever? For reference:
