Had 45 MPH winds on Lake Wateree that knocked out power from 9:30 last night until just after 6 am.
Second time in a month we’ve had a power outage that lasted longer than 6 hours. This shit keeps up, that $8000 investment for a 26kw Generac is looking better every day. Thankfully we just got the edge of the storm. |

I am SE of you.
I lost power for less than a minute last night. There seemed to be a lot of wind/tree damage with debris in the road this morning. Thing is... I didn't even really hear that much wind. It must've been more localized bursts |

Nothing here Sunday night but saw one hell of a light show to the North.

Nothing Sunday night in Summerville.
Monday night we got 1.75 inches of rain in 15 minutes, with hail and high winds. Power is out since 7:45 pm |

Power is out since 7:45 pm My son’s friend in Summerville sent him video of the golf ball size hail. 10 years ago we were pounded hard with bad hail like that in NE Columbia. Got me a new roof out of it. Wife’s new Pilot got $8500 of damage. Soon to be SIL got his car totaled but bought it back. It hit during our wedding rehearsal we were having at our home. Everyone left with a consolation prize.

Saw videos of them closing down 26 to clear trees near summerville.
