Kicking around having my slide, frame, and barrel diamond-like-coated (DLC). Does anyone know of an applicator in middle TN before I send it off to be done out of state?

Used to be a plating company on 4th Ave South in Nashville that did good work. He was slow as hell, but did good work.

No clue if he does guns or the coating you want, sorry.

Leonard Plating?

1403 4th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37210

I've used them for re-plating door hardware, drain covers, etc. for old stuff I can't replace. Always did a great job, haven't used them in several years though.

From what little I saw of the place, it didn't strike me as high-tech DLC type of operation. But I never asked them about anything gun-related.

Don't expect it to get very far down into the holes..... DLC can't lay down in
deep holes. On external contours like what you described, it's good stuff.

XADC-type coatings tend to leave raised edges on corners, but that's XADC.
It can be minimized, but it takes a lot of attention to detail to do it right.

I don't know anyone in TN..... You may have to look elsewhere, but I'm not sure.
