In Bucks County they were turning people away around 2pm. It isn't like on Election Day, where if you are in line by 8pm, you have the opportunity to vote. Most of the election offices close at 4 or 5pm. They didn't want people to stand in line for 2hrs and then get turned away. These same people could've requested a mail in ballot up until yesterday, if they wanted to vote early. I am in the vote on Election Day camp, as I don't live in an area that gets long lines. I may have a 20-30 min wait tops, on a major election. Minor ones we may have 5-6 people in line when I get there around 4pm. |
