Hi, mom here. My son is high functioning and this is his first trip away from home. We live in very rural area and he isn't used to cities and traffic. He's staying in Lakeland 18-21 and then he is heading to the Disneyworld resort from the 21-24. He is running a 10K on Saturday the 20th near Kathleen. He's a nice man, introverted but interested in people sometimes socially awkward but in a kind way (can't really tell if a joke is appropriate or if he's the butt of the joke).

I have had a few members visit with me and suggested I write here. My son is a lonely and would like to meet people. Unfortunately his hobbies and interests are singular. He is into Star Wars and graphic arts. He loves photography too though. He is into fitness and hiking, running. Not too much into fishing and hunting because it upsets him to see an animal hurt. He grew up with hunting so he understands it.

I thought I would see if anyone in the area would be up to visiting with him. He loves food too. Please don't feel obligated! He's a great guy.

Perhaps he can visit here since he is into star wars.
