| Has anyone utilize a smith that they trust for threading barrels locally versus mailing one out? |

"Eastern PA" covers quite a bit of real estate. Felegie Enterprises Fern Glenn, PA 18241 570-384-4308 does all kinds of custom work. Barrel threading is top notch and absolutely square to the bore because of all the suppressor fittings they do. They are a Class 3 and SOT dealer AND manufacturer, so they are very adept at barrel threading. Took off, cut down from 16" to 10", re-threaded, crowned, opened the gas port, and reinstalled a 7.62 NATO chrome lined AR10 barrel for me. |

I want a shorter barrel for hunting this fall. I have a 7SAUM take criterion sitting and a 6.5 creedmoor green mountain sitting as potential 16” barrels for use with a suppressor. |

Trop has seemed closed the last few times I went past this year then I was in Etown at a customer site and was informed of the sale.
