I just got back from Branson, and I went through the Titanic again. They have some different items now, because they travel around the country for different displays. The passenger card this time was an 11yo boy, named Master Karl Scroog. I died. "Master Karl Thorsten Skoog was an 11 (eleven) year-old American passenger aboard the ill-fated RMS Titanic. Born on July 13, 1900, in Iron Mountain, Michigan, Karl was the eldest child of Swedish immigrants Wilhelm Johansson Skoog and Anna Bernhardina Karlsson. His tragic story is one of resilience in the face of adversity and the heartbreaking loss of an entire family during one of history's most infamous maritime disasters."     |
| I took my kids there a few summers ago just to see that place. Very well done. I had been to the travelling one in Orlando and Las Vegas, but this one is more well done since it's a permanent exhibit (e.g. the grand staircase and the other larger exhibits). I really enjoyed reading the menus and other posters showing the dates/accomodations. Worth the trip and admission! |

Hi, On our 15th wedding anniversary, we renewed our vows on the grand staircase, with a ring to boot, in Pigeon Forge. Our granddaughter was with us. I had planned on going there this year for our 25th and do it again, but our 3 dogs were our hinderance. That and the fact, illness has run rampant thru our family. I would recommend that attraction to anyone. It is worth the admission fee. |

For awhile there I was hitting 1 or 2 tourist traps in Branson per year. Something to do in the off season. Most recently was the the Ferris Wheel and the Hollywood Wax Museum, Mini-golf, and 3d shooter video game thing. Note appendix carry doesn't work that well when you are bending over to pick up your golf ball on every hole of mini-golf. Snoop and I hanging out at the wax museum.  I've never visited the Titanic Museum and always wondered what it was. Is it just a Museum that you walk through? |

Yes, you walk through two floors of displays. Some are actual artifacts retrieved from the ocean, and others are recreations. Lots of small displays, with things like pictures and letters, a room with a short video about building the Olympic and the Titanic, a small sink-looking think with circulating water the same temp as the ocean when/where it sank, etc. The rooms and halls have framed stuff on the walls, and the rooms have some display cases in the center. There's a display you can walk up, showing the estimated angle of the deck as it sank.  Half of a lifeboat, with seats by little buttons that you can press for info. I didn't get up in it, but I rolled behind it in my wheelchair.
