Something just seems "off" about how it all went down. One Council member brings it up and boom it passes and signed by the Mayor even though they all know it can't hold up in court against the state preemption law. But that's the City's MO....."Fuck you, take us to court". Curious to know who was behind Pete Festersen's push for this. He didn't come up with it on his own. "Even if we ban bump stocks or trigger cranks within the city limits of Omaha, you aren't going to actually curb the use or the availability unless they are banned nationwide," said Melton. |
