Well, it looks like Rural King won't sell NY residents fudd guns anymore. My goal is to not use the NY bgc system. I tried a RK in OH and PA, same situation. I was told earlier this year at Cabela's (Hamburg PA) that they would sell a NY compliant long gun. Kinda bummed that Ed's Sport Shop in Tamaqua PA closed, bought my Mini-Thirty there years ago. Anyone else know of stores in PA that sell to NY residents? |

Can’t say how true it is, but while federal law says anyone can buy a long gun in any state ( the contiguous state rule was bounced years ago) apparently NY has some how clamped down on this and not sure if a law or if out of state dealers just don’t want to ruffle feathers. A friend recently went to PA to buy a rifle, and dealer said it was “ policy” not to sell to ny residents |
