Ill be voting for the dems for the first time in my life this time around. But just at the federal level. My intent is to get a Democrat House to tie donny's hands so he doesn't have time to start ww3. You think he's bad now.....just wait until after the mid terms. We need gridlock in DC and if voting for the enemy works...then so be it. Since local and state politics affects me more than federal, I'll do what I can at primaries and hold my nose or stay home in the general. Since Donald's is the preferred candidate of the orange menace, I think I'll pass on that vote since it's almost a for sure that Donald's will win the Gangster Oligarc Party nod. That leaves me no one to vote for for Governor in the general. I will now stand back to catch the javelins. |

You need to realize and accept that the enemy of your enemy IS your friend..............allbeit difficult or short term..........use THEM like they are a borrowed mule. The fact that you're saying this election is about the gubernatorial race, but then you're saying the country needs to tell Trump to shut up and sit down. I was leaning toward Donalds because I got a good impression seeing him on a podcast a little while ago and because of his aforementioned support for our 2A rights that Miami pointed out. Now I'm leaning toward him out of spite toward my fellow Floridians who'd vote to cut off their nose to spite their face. And because his name has "Donald" in it

In 2018, RDS won over Gillum by around 30,000 votes statewide. It was THAT close. Some time later Gillum was found in a Miami Beach motel room under questionable circumstances. David Jolly and Gwen Graham are a dangerous ticket. Jolly is a former R, who got TDS and swapped to the D ticket. He's just like Crist. Graham is a daughter of a previous, popular Democrat governor (before they went communist) and many people remember that. She very well could have won in 2018 had the progressives not pushed Gillum after the Parkland shooting. Whomever the R candidate is, we need to get out and support them fully. We cannot allow Florida to go the way of California, Illinois, or one of the northeast states because your chosen R candidate didn't get in. |

I do not want the same rep up in D.C. He should have made Pinellas one district but then Anna would be at risk. I liked the guy, but that was some pure bullshit for the sake of his party not the voters. The R's need to find better people to run. How did that mini-Rambo who has only been here a few years get into that Lt.Gov slot? The other guy just has his head up Trump's ass. The party needs to remember; Trump is out of office in thirty-one months. Too many wagons are hitched to an old man who will be gone soon, and the Dems are too focused on the same issue. |

I have been here since 05, not a bot. This is what I have going on with the Republicans right now. Let's keep it to the ones in my area, but we will include DeSantis. I got my Congresswoman talking about UFO's, Operation Paper Clip and MKUltra in DC this month like she is in the X-Files. None of that is why we sent here there. Oh yeah, when we were attacking Iran and the Gov was shut down, she went out to L.A. to hang with Bill Maher. She should have been in D.C. or her office in Seminole. She cares more about building a nationwide brand then the voters of Pinellas County. Oh, and she moved here so she could run, that is a bit weak. My state Republican rep, Linda Chaney's husband is going to trail for tax fraud. He admits it in the Information that was filed. Instead of the party telling her to step aside and them getting someone new, they are running her again. It is all about winning not what is the right thing to do. All of the above is true, but apparently someone's district now has icky city people in it, and that impacts the level of service they get from their Congressional Representative, which is critical to them, or something. So Jolly it is! Personally, I enjoy the fact that all the leftists in Gainesville are represented, and ignored, by our Republican Representative, who's district has sufficient conservative sections to outvote the Democrats. Fact is, in USA 2026, about every district is going to have some mix of city and country areas, save for the worst sections of big cities, and areas completely out in the sticks. If you're anywhere close to a city, your choices are: 1. Be in a 55/45 rural and conservative / urban and leftist area, have a conservative represent you, and ignore the leftists. 2. Be in a 45 /55 rural and conservative / urban and leftist area, have a leftist represent you, and you're ignored. Those are your choices. Like it, hate it, doesn't matter. And no amount of voting for a political transvestite like Jolly will change that. |
