Anyone have any recommendations for tool stores that carry nice mechanics tools? Knipex, Williams, SK, PB Swiss, etc… I would love to find a Koken dealer that will let you touch their stuff before I start going down that road. Atlanta area is what I am looking for but I will travel where ever I can put my mitts on the these items. |

Can't say I know of anything like that around anymore. Looks like the closest with Koken and that kind of stuff is this independent tool truck business in TN. That’s sad that there is nothing like that around. MGI sounds interesting for the brands they have but I was hoping for something with more of the brands I am looking for. Some of the Japanese tool shops with American, Japanese and European tools look amazing (on YouTube). After reading your responses, I began wondering if there could be enough demand for something like this to make a comeback. But if there is nothing like that in the entire state and there are only a few options like what I am looking for online, I guess I have my answer. Thanks! |
| The other option is a Japanese vacation. I went last year and shipped some tools home and brought other in my checked bag. Now with the tariffs you will pay taxes on tools you ship to yourself. |
