Short of call-in a napalm strike does anyone knows a great way to kill them snails? This year is bad in my area.

If you're referring to the Giant African Land Snail, gather them up (be sure to wear gloves) as they harbor the parasite known as rat lungworm, known to cause meningitis in humans. Put then in a bucket and apply a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution from a spray bottle to snails/eggs, it destroys both very efficiently.

Thanks guys for the tips. I don't have the African Giant snails but it is the small snails that are invading my yard and I have been doing a whole bunch of crap without trying to kill the plants, grass and pets.

Dunno what type of snails I had. The little baby round ones and ones that were a bit bogger but more cone shape in a couple shell patterns. I just put down the snail pellets in a cereal sized box from home depot about 10 years ago and they have just started to make a resurgence this year.
