I'm starting a thread for posting info on the Corona situation in the Eurozone.
Currently there are no confirmed cases in the Netherlands. As far as reporting goes we will be bring back some tourists that might be infected but they wil be under quarantine. 25-02-2020 - Guests in a hotel in Insbruk have been placed under quarantine. - Guests in a hotel in Tenerife have been placed under quarantine. |

Middle aged man from the city of Tilburg who travelled to Lombardia. Bad news is he was cavorting around the carnival festivities earlier this week. Just to give an idea why this could be bad news

Second case confirmed this morning. Both patients had (unrelated) recently returned from holidays in the Lombardia region of Italy (it's school holidays now so lots of people go on short trips and Italy/southern Europe are popular).
The 'Amsterdam' patient is a female and lives in a small town close to Amsterdam (Diemen) BUT works in the Amsterdam University Hospital so that comes with a whole separate set of issues |

In the Netherlands just updated: Of the Amsterdam case the spouse and one of the children have also been tested positive for the Corona virus. Patients are subject to quarantine but none seem to be in a life threatening condition. |

264 confirmed cases 3 confirmed deaths. All deaths seem to be in the >65 y.o. range. 10 members of staff in a hospital treating patients were confirmed to be infected. This hospital would have been ready so that's pretty concerning as far as transmissibility prevention goes. |

The official status has changed to 'no longer under control'. For the rest retard normies clearing out supermarkets. Empty shelves all over the place. 656 confirmed 1 death 6 recovered Schools will be closed on Monday, Shops will be closed on Monday (except of Supermarkets, Drugstores and Banks) Restaurants, Pubs … (the whole catering industry) must close at 3 p.m. Wow the catering industry as well that sucks. The typical Dutch approche is that the economy is the number 1 priority so no real shut downs. Now we have the official .gov medical institute and the actual medical specialists giving contradictory advise. Personally considering booking a plane ticket out of here if the trend continues. |

Being cautious here in Alabama, USA.
How is Poland right now? Family members on vacation there, if they don't get stranded. They all seem to be healthy / okay, but haven't been able to get "good" answers on the spread , maybe due to continental hysteria in the media. Thanks. |

1705(*) Infected 43 Deaths (*) We are running low on reactive agents so we don't have to capacity to test everybody. The only people getting tested are the sick and hospital staff with patient contact. All deaths have still been in elderly patients. More concerning is that the Dutch PM annouced the strategy wil be herd immunity by way of partial lockdown and not lockdowns like in France (economic reasons). Could cost 80k lives according to estimates .

11 fatalities. I was at work today, but most others worked from home. I'll be at work tomorrow as well, and probably during the weekend. Planned exercises have been cancelled for this week, they'll probably be cancelled next week as well. The navy is doing exercises on the west coast though. The health care system is running short on face masks, hand desinfectants, and surface desinfectants. Private companies and Stockholm University are ramping up production of ethanol and hydrogen-peroxide based desinfectants. |

19-03-2020 @ 23:59 2460 Confirmed cases 76 Deaths (edited due to mis type) Health miniser that did the flop yesterday resigned. We have some really hardcore emergency powers laws I suspect that some of these will be partially used in the comming days. Deaths are rising and might go up significantly over the next couple of days so that's a concern. For the rest in Iggy1337's home it's pretty boring and i can do everything from home. To be honest I would have prefered to just fuck off for a holiday in a remote Australian region and sit this one out only mrs. Iggy1337 is considered essential and wont leave. Super makets are well stocked and I have daily fresh bread. Havent used my nightvision or assless chaps once yet. Son is home from school so we are practicing some sword fighting/bow/pelletgun. |
